About Us
Host - Jessica
Jessica is a TV, film, and music fanatic. She has always had the dream of seeing people like herself on the small and big screen. With the rise of international k-pop group BTS and the increased Asian American representation in Hollywood, she believes it is time for people who look like her to be inspired, bringing themselves and their narratives to the spotlight. When Jessica isn't watching TV, movies, or jamming to BTS, she takes care of her two beautiful boys, Oliver and Hunter. Jessica is married to Jason and they live in Sacramento, CA.
Host - Jonathan
Jonathan's love for media didn't start with one particular film or TV show. He's loved them his entire life, whether that was watching Hmong dubbed films as a child, growing up with Disney animated films, or watching Saturday morning cartoons. During high school, YouTube videos, in particular, were a big source of inspiration for his love of music. That was when he also started to make short films with his brother Larry for their church in Sacramento, CA. After a break from making short films and doing video projects, his love for media was rekindled with the rise of Asian American representation in Hollywood in 2018. Larry is the third youngest of the four siblings. He is passionate about storytelling in all types of mediums, including films, books, and video games. He hopes to share some of the stories that have impacted him and to learn about other storytellers' experiences.
